By accessing or using VoiceCast (the "Service"), operated by Sidhiratech ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to all of these Terms, you may not use the Service.
VoiceCast provides audio-to-text transcription services powered by OpenAI's Whisper model. Users may upload audio recordings in supported formats (.m4a, .mp3, .wav, .ogg, .flac, .aac, .webm) and receive a text transcript in return. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time.
You must be at least 16 years of age to create an account. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this age requirement and agree to provide accurate information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
You agree not to use the Service to upload recordings of individuals without their consent where required by law, upload illegal or harmful content, attempt to gain unauthorised access, reverse engineer any part of the Service, or violate any applicable law or regulation.
You retain all ownership rights to your audio files and transcripts. We do not permanently store your audio files — they are processed in memory and discarded after the transcript is returned. We do not use your audio or transcripts to train machine learning models.
Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, incorporated into these Terms by reference.
When you create an account, you have the option to opt in to receive promotional emails from us. This opt-in is entirely voluntary. Not opting in does not affect your ability to use the Service. You may unsubscribe at any time via the unsubscribe link in any email, via account settings, or by emailing hello@voicecast.app. We will process unsubscribe requests within 10 business days.
The Service and its original content are the exclusive property of Sidhiratech and its licensors, protected by copyright and trademark law.
The Service is provided on an "AS IS" basis without warranties of any kind. Transcription quality may vary depending on audio clarity, background noise, accents, and the selected model tier.
Sidhiratech shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the past 12 months or $10 USD.
We may terminate or suspend your account at any time for breach of these Terms. You may close your account at any time by contacting us.
We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, by emailing registered users.
